Yogendra Sharma has been practicing the pichvai art for almost 25 years now, in which time period, his love for the art form has not diminished by any means, but only grown. Having learnt painting from his grandfather Kanhailalji originally (whose work can be seen all around the region and especially at the Juna Mahal in Dungarpur), Yogendraji tries his best to follow the traditional techniques according to the Nathdwara style. His masterpieces can be seen at the Shrinathji temple as well as at the Vitthalnathji Mandir at Nathdwara. Pichvai painting is not only his passion but an outlet for his devotion. Currently residing in the Chitrakaaron ki gali in Nathdwara with his family, he stands as a true torchbearer of the rich legacy of pichvai painting.
